Singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, known as Ruger, has expressed his belief that some women are attracted to individuals with harmful behaviors.

In a recent installment of the Zero Conditions podcast, the 23-year-old artist candidly admitted that he exhibited toxic traits in his past relationships.

Ruger remarked:

“I was the one with toxic tendencies. The issues in my relationships were all on me. But when I’d suggest to the ladies to leave, they’d resist. Even when I’d propose ending things, they’d insist on working it out.

“It’s not about striving to be a better person. If it’s not working, it’s just not. Let’s call it quits.

“I came across a video where women were asked, ‘What’s the most toxic thing you find appealing?’ Surprisingly, some replied, ‘I like it when he’s assertive. I enjoy it when he takes charge. I’m into it when he raises his voice.’

“Believe it or not, there’s a certain allure toxic behavior holds for some women. They may not openly admit it, but it’s a reality. Women tend to be drawn to assertive men, at least during their initial dating stages. When it comes to marriage, they may opt for a more gentle partner.”

In conclusion, Ruger‘s candid remarks shed light on a complex aspect of relationships. While acknowledging his own past toxic behavior, he also touched on the intriguing phenomenon of some women being drawn to assertive or even harmful traits in their partners. This conversation highlights the importance of open communication, self-awareness, and ultimately, the necessity of healthy dynamics in any relationship. It serves as a reminder that understanding and respecting each other’s boundaries is crucial for building and sustaining strong, meaningful connections.
