Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has announced the release of a new song, Rodo.

The musician dropped his latest single, having released “The life I chose” back in February 2024.

Produced by the beatmaker Chillz, “Rodo” is a vibrant and energetic amapiano song.

He announced the release in a series of short videos on his Instagram page, “Rodo don drop chop am”

The song titled Rodo, which translates to ‘Red Pepper’ is a mixture of Afrobeats and Amapiano with traditional Nigerian genres like Fuji and apala.

The singer recently concluded his headline UK tour with a spectacular performance at London’s iconic OVO Wembley Arena.

The success of the tour followed his sold-out O2 Academy Brixton show at the end of 2022 in support of his critically acclaimed fourth studio album, “Catch Me If You Can”.

Adekunle Gold is married to singer Simi. The pair tied the knot in 2018 and welcomed their first child in June 2020.
